is there any diff b/w hub and switch
hello guyz plz tell me that if i replace switch by hub using cable net is there any difference in my net speed or downloading .. thnx farhan in advance coz i know he replies well :) dont mind others :O lolz

my pleasure :) .. well dat doesnt make any difference atall!! now aday switches are not available coz i think they dont allow more then 1 pc to connect ( NOT SURE THOUGH ) .. hubs are available with which u can connect 8 pcs at a time ... in short NO DIFFERENCE AT ALL! :)

lol @ mohisn waisay i dont think there is any coz there working are same.. kabhe Hafeez centre jana aur ja ker ask for a switch they will say hub chahye ... coz there is not a bit diff in them.. haan one diff yeah hai .. kaye hub u can connect number of pcs.. ofcorse then... if u r using internet speed is a bit slow on each pc as number of pc's are connected to it.. verna if u wanna compare then with one pc ofcorse nothin differs!
